FE Sponsors RM 38,000 Towards Rotary Club Bandar Utama's Art Competition For the Learning Disabled!   FusionExcel is pleased to sponsor RM 38,000 (comprising of Quantum Science products) towards the The Rotary Club of Bandar Utama's “Rainbow In My Heart” Art Competition. The Rotary Club of Bandar Utama organised a unique Art Competition open to only special need children and adults on 23rd October 2011 with a team “Rainbow In My Heart” at SJK © Puay Chai, Petaling Jaya. This competition is first of its kind in Malaysia organised by an NGO with the objective to create awareness for special needs people and successfully entered into Malaysian Book of Records with more than 200 special needs participants registered. The objective of the Art Competition is to highlight that visual art is a powerful tool to develop a child’s thoughts into a visible medium of communication with the community at large. It is also to inspire and provide a powerful alternative approach to enhance their imagination and creativity. The art competition will enable special needs people to develop and recognise their full potential in the visual medium. Apart from the competition, the autistic children from the Music Dream Centre where Miss Malaysia World 2011 Chloe Chen is their Brand Ambassador (Chloe could not attend as she is currently representing Malaysia in the Miss World 2011 Finals in London) performed several pieces to entertain the crowd while the judges decide on the winners. They have received very positive feedback and more children enrolled in the Music Dream Centre. There’s 3 categories: Category A – 12 years and below , Category B – 13 years to 18 years and Category C -19 years and above. Participants will be provided with a A3 size acid free paper during the competition. The top 20 winning art work will be displayed at the art exhibition, Art Expo Malaysia 2011 at MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC), Kuala Lumpur from 28 October to 1 November 2011 Guest of Honour, Y.Bhg Dato' Zaliha Omar, FusionExcel Event Manager Patrick Chan, "Hope for Children" Ambassador Maggie Loo, Miss Malaysia World 1st Runner Up Pamela Tam and 2nd Runner Up Chua Yee See and Director Leader SP Wong attended the event. On behalf of FusionExcel, FE Event Manager Patrick Chan presented FE Quantum Science products as gifts to the Guest of Honour Y.Bhg Dato' Zaliha Omar and also to the judges.
