FE Celebrates Hope For Children World Carnival Day, MAEPS, Kuala Lumpur, 29th May 2010! (1)

FusionExcel International recently celebrated its inaugural “Mega Feat” event, the first “Hope For Children” World Carnival Day on 29th  May 2010. The objective is to provide food, fun and festivity to about 20,000 less fortunate and underprivileged children in various  parts of the world where FusionExcel’s network is spread. The participating countries this year includes Malaysia, Philippines,  Vietnam, India, etc.

For the celebration in Malaysia, for a start, 3 cities hosted the carnival i.e. Kuala Lumpur, Johore Bahru & Tawau. For the celebration in  Kuala Lumpur, FusionExcel International being the organiser, worked in collaboration with the Chefs Association of Malaysia, World  Association of Chefs Societies and various sponsors like German Delicatessen, Pastry Pro, Euro-Atlantic, Nestle Professional, King's  Dairies, Malaysia Milk Sdn Bhd, The Rock School Musical Theatre, Kelana Jaya Catering Sdn Bhd,  Paradigm Events, Malaysia Agro  Exposition Park Serdang, The Sanctuary, Contra Enterprise, Berjaya University College of Hospitality, Quantum Science & Nutri Science in Kuala Lumpur in organising a grand, sumptuous, fun- filled and memorable event catering to the less fortunate and underprivileged children from about 50 charity homes from the Klang Valley.

More than 2,000 children, Charity homes officials, Sponsors, FusionExcel Leaders, Members & Guest turned up at the Kuala Lumpur  celebration which was held at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang. The event was graced by the presence of Datin Seri Dr. Indrani Samy Vellu who was the guest of honor & VVIP of the event.

Highlights Of The Event Includes:
   
- Feeding of the children with the food & beverages provided by the Sponsors mentioned.
   
- An amazing Magic Show performed by a Professional Magician Avery Chin.
   
- Humorous Clown Performances.
   
- Golf Trick Shots demonstration by FE Youngest Spokesperson & 2 times World Junior Golf Champion 9 years old Natasha Andrea Oon together with FE spokesperson & International Golf Long Drive Specialist Jean Daniels.
   
- Special Appreciation Gift Presentation to VVIP Datin Seri Dr. Indrani Samy Vellu for gracing the event.
   
- Appreciation Gift Presentation to Sponsors present - German Delicatessen (received on behalf by Mr. Calvin Wong from Chef Association of Malaysia), Kelana Jaya Catering Sdn Bhd (received on behalf by Mr. Ringo Kaw), Contra Enterprise (received on behalf by ED Ricky Wong & Michelle Koo), The Rock Musical Theatre (received on behalf by Mr. Peter Chua & Ms Janet Lee), Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (received on behalf by Encik Khairul Azwan) & Berjaya University College of Hospitality (received on behalf by Ms Soo Mei).
   
- The event culminated with an entertaining one-hour Children Musical Theatre performance by an ensemble of 60 local children (majority of them are from the children’s homes) trained, directed and choreographed by UK West End Professionals, Mr Chris Colby and Mr David Kort from The Rock School Musical Theatre. For most of the children, this is their first time getting involved in a musical play and it served as a good opportunity and platform for them to express themselves, develop their personality and discover their own talent and potential. This is FusionExcel’s compassionate gesture and contribution to provide opportunities especially to the less fortunate children to learn new skills in the Performing Arts in order to help discover and nurture talents and give them a new outlook in life. It was truly amazing indeed to see how these children with little or no Performing Arts skills was able to put up such a marvelous performance after a mere 9 days of short training & rehearsal!
   
It was a successful event! Everybody enjoyed the shows especially the children! A special note of Thanks to all our Collaborating Partners, Sponsors, Organizing Committee, Volunteers & Participating Charity Homes for making the event a success & enjoyable for all the children!
