On the 29th & 30th October 2011, 92 FusionExcel Leaders, comprising Johor Bahru Lead Team led by Crown Presidential Director Doreen Tan and their 13 invited guests from Singapore headed by Country Licensee, Mr. Jerry Yang gathered at Pulai Springs Resort, Johor Bahru. The seminar was superbly conducted by Asia’s No.1 motivator, Dr. BN Edward. JB Lead Team Leaders came from Indonesia (Pekan Baru and Bali), East Malaysia (Sibu and Miri), Kelantan (Kota Bharu), Pahang (Kuantan), Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Johor (Batu Pahat, Yong Peng, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru). There were also 7 Deaf and Mute Leaders, who actively participated in the seminar.
The participants were from different language-speaking backgrounds i.e. English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Sign language. It was a tremendous challenge for our trainer, Dr Edward to accommodate the different needs of these groups even with the help of an interpreter for the deaf and mute. Amazingly, he surmounted all these challenges and conducted an awesome programme!
The seminar was a high-impact and high-energy event, words usually associated with aerobics or sports. Each session began with an exciting exercise from laughter, hip-hop and jazz exercises. Dr Edward created a strong buy-in for all participants right from the start. With the phrase “SELLING EQUALS INCOME”, he grabbed the attention of the participants. He built strong interest with his unique delivery peppered with lots of humour and his engaging style. He whetted the participants desire by stating, “I’ve helped many networkers to build more than RM 100,000 monthly incomes and I will teach you how to dispose of your large volume of stocks.”
There was little time for note-taking as he believed in the ‘hands-on’ method of learning. Through role plays and repeated drills many participants learned to handle the ‘pressure-cooker’ moments during a sales presentation. We learned to adapt and respond quickly without being emotionally distressed by our prospects questioning.
The 4 key areas are: SELLING, TEAM for massive income, TEACH, and CODE OF HONOUR. Time flies very quickly when you’re having fun. That was exactly what many felt when the sessions ended late past 11.30pm on the first night.
On the second day, the session began early as each group delivered their ‘10 Questions in a Sale’. We honed our skills in the technique of questioning and responding to objections. We played games that taught us the value of managing our money. The day ended with lots of positive feedback and requests for future programmes by Dr. Edward. Outstanding Crown Presidential Director, KC Phoon shared with all participants the huge potential of China market, tie-ups with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) as the scalar-energy provider and the great possibilities leading to a public listing on the stock market. He spoke on the leveraging effect of networkers and the importance of teamwork towards earning massive income.
