FusionExcel at Promotion of Prevention of Hearing Loss "JOM DENGAR" 22th July 2008 at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Fusion Excel took the opportunity to set up a booth at the recent campaign on “Jom Dengar” organised by the Department of Family Health, Ministry of Health together with several government and NGO’s in a one day event held at UKM, Bangi. The event was launched by Dato’ Low Tiong Lai, Minister of Health Malaysia to a packed audience which comprised of invited guest, students, medical profession and members of the public. The campaign was aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge about hearing loss and care of the hearing, encouraging students of IPT to do hearing loss screening and enhancing community awareness about the Deaf Community.
The Minister visited several of the booths and sportingly did the demo of balance test of FusionExcel’s Quantum Pendant carried out by Rena Chong. This was captured by several media journalist and even the crew of RTM. Throughout the day, the FusionExcel’s booth gains a lot of interest not only from the students but also lecturers, nurses, those in the medical profession and members of the public. The FusionExcel’s team guided by Rena provided indepth information and carried out demonstration to those who visited the booth. A lucky draw was also held towards the end of the event and prizes was given out to the lucky winners.
