FusionExcel Flag On Top Of Mount Gasherbrum!

REPORT FROM QUANTUM PENDANT WEARER SURECH KUPPUSAMY, WORLD CLASS MOUNTAINEER:

At 8,035 meter Mount Gasherbrum or G2 is one of only 14 mountains in the world, which rises above the magical 8,000 meter mark making them the highest, hardest and also the most dangerous terrain in the world. The 2008 G2 climb commenced officially on 08th June 2008 in Islamabad at the Alpine Club of Pakistan. Alpine Club was happy to receive me, the first Malaysian, to climb in the Karakoram Himalayas and to attempt the first 8,000 meter mountain there. For me, this was my second experience wearing Quantum Pendant while on an expedition. The first time, I worn the Quantum Pendant was when doing the high altitude search and rescue training cum expedition in the Indian Himalayas in March 2008. Once again I was eager to test the power of the Quantum Pendant in the challenging environment. What waited ahead of us was one of the most challenging trek in the world leading up on the longest glacial trail known as Baltoro Glacier. For about 2 weeks, we would be walking for hours, almost everyday and away from civilizations. What a perfect environment to test the Quantum Pendant, so I thought to myself.

Throughout the trek, I made use of drinking from the Quantum Flask as well. What amazes me again, was the recovering ability at the end of the day. Throughout the trek, I distributed the Quantum Pendant to the members of the climbing team. Everyone was in good health, and for the first time in my experience, I saw that none of the climbing members fell sick due to the altitude. It is very common, otherwise for climbers to fall sick during the journey to the mountains because of the altitude increase. This amazed me!

Back in Islamabad we met again with the man who helped to organize the logistics of our team climb, none other than the great Mr Ashraf Aman. The first Pakistani ever to stand atop the world's 2nd highest peak, the mighty K2, revered as the world's most dangerous and difficult mountain. In addition to being awarded the Presidential Medal for Performance, he also made the second ascent of this killer mountain since it was first scaled in 1954 by a very skilled Italian team. Mr Ashraf heard from us about the Quantum Pendant and he quickly took one Quantum Pendant for himself!
